I’ve just totally noticed something! Look at the markings around Raigho’s eyes and then go to page 65 and look at the markings there. They’re different.
Poor Iki..I think Raigho handled Iki to hard,Hes young, He dosent know what Humans are really like, ( Meaning, He didn’t really take in what Gebo said about Lighting Snakes..). He shouldn’t have bit him and threw him on the ground, He should have at least hit him, Not threaten to pull his fur out and use it as bedding!
Though, I understand Raigho, Like he said in the begging, That hes trying to protect the white spirit from harm, Which is Iki..In the previous page, He looked like he was panicking while he was explaining how good Humans are at hunting wolves, So i guess he really wouldn’t want Iki to run off..
Though, This tells me if Raigho has seen humans when he left his own pack long ago, He seems to know loads about them….I wonder if we will be able to get a clearer story about Raigho’s past…

i think raigho is just a bit galled. don´t forget this wasn´t the first dispute this evenig. first the thing with the ravens then with the uncle from gebo and now that. i thnk i would be pissed of too.
an then think about he wants to protekt his pack and need to show that he is the real alpha. if he hasn´t react like that, he would look weak and that could cost him his position. and that could cause that someone is runnig back into the danger

Look, he’s trying to keep his loved ones safe. Iki’s plan, although brave and all that , would put the entire pack in danger. It’s not like he ripped the kids throat out or anything. He just threw him down, and now is giving him a good scolding. Iki isn’t considering the big picture.

Even if it was for food in that picture, though, as explained under the picture :

I do not like him, nor do I try to defend him really much, I just want to defend natural wolf behaviour.
Plus, want to make people understand that those comic wolves got some humanish treats, but are no humans, thus will act like wolves.

Wow, Rhagio looks evil in this page. He is one of my favs but I kinda hate him here. What did poor Iki do? I feel bad for the pup, maybe Rhagio is mad because Iki is suddenly making better desicions and Rhagio is afraid Iki will somehow surpass him as alpha. Or maybe it has something to do with the whole blue eye legend thing or maybe Rhagio is afraid to go back since he doesn’t want them killed too…must know the answer soon!
No, it is just because Iki said ”I will go back, screw you all”, which he is not allowed to say nor decide on his own, because he is not the alpha wolf.
He is stepping massively over Raigho’s authority and as an alpha wolf, Raigho can’t tolerate that, so he had to force him into submission.
Take a look, for example, on our dogs … if a mother there has pups, she is doing that, too.
That is the way they are educated ^^.

Yep. To show dominance dogs get others dogs onto their back to expose their belly. I do that to my dog when she does something bad. I flip her and force her on her back. She knows when she’s done something wrong because as soon as she’s bad and I show up she immediately goes into a submissive position and does the Iki face. Big eyes and the “I’m sorry!” look. xD
It is just the view of the panel that makes him look that way. if the fluff is going off to the side then a side view wont look as fluffy as an above view, like it shows there.
Rahigo looks really POed, but if he wants to keep his place as the Alpha, he has to yell at Iki; no matter how sad and adorable his face looks. Which is alot.
