      Well, but it is true howling will give out your position, just like a strobe behind enemy’s lines.

      By the way wolf can hear the howling too, they do have better chance to become hositle too. But there is a slight chance to becoem friendly, really rare chance.

      Animals’ – usually canines, I think – fur stands on end when angry or scared. It’s to make them look larger and therefore more threatening.

      Did you see in the 2nd panel how Jera bulges out one giant electric green eye, and shows a little bit of teeth! It makes her look as though she is saying in her head “OH NO, NO, NO, NO! I DON’T THINK SO!”

    Alright, I’m going to make a huge statement now.
    I realize that often, people who reply to these pages may give an opinion or say something that makes others angry.
    Right now I’m going to simply say: ALL CONFLICT ISN’T NECESSARY!
    First off, we are all human, right? We all have a right to our opinions, whether or not others agree to them. Freedom of speech. Everyone has rights to what they say.
    Second off, why must people counter what some people say? For instance one person may say something, and another just has to comment about it, saying it’s rude or unnecessary, and a mini fight breaks out before it stops eventually. There is no need for such things. One polite response is the most one should do.
    Third off, why must anyone complain in the first place? This isn’t the place for that. Yes, opinion is good and all for the artists. Grant it, ideas are very much welcome usually, and I hope people continue to voice their thoughts. But here is a question: Are we not all here to enjoy this wonderful web comic? We are here to watch the making of a great story, not argue over small things.
    I know this may sound like spam or some ‘goody-two-shoes’ trying to correct everything, but that’s just the way I am, sorry.
    ‘What you think of me says a lot about you.’ Think about that ;)

    Oh my God… That’s Raigho, not Jera.

    Yes, I know that Raigho has orange eyes. But I still think that it is Raigho.

    1. Jera has black fur. Wolf’s fur on this page is definitely much too light to be black. It has to be grey. I know that in the moon light colours look differently than in sun light, but theye can’b be so much lighter. In fact, they should be all darker, because of less light.

    2. Jere has no reasons to shout something like that. Only Raigho knows where are they going, only Raigho knows what dangers are around. And I think would shot something like: “Shut up you idiots! I cannot sleep!”

    3. In night wolf’s eyes shines, often in different color that the animal normally have. For example my dog has brown eyes, but in night they look like red,

    I truly believe that it is Raigho.

      Dude, it’s Jera.
      For one, the moon is probably out in the picture so that’s what makes her fur lighter than usual.
      Her eyes are green
      She may not know where they’re going, Jera still has a dislike towards Iki, hence the reason she is shouting.
      Just wanted to point those out. (and the fact the main page had a fan art gallery for Jera since she appeared on the moss recent page: this one.)

      1. You can see it’s meant to be black, plus Raigho has different mask markings.
      2. We all know Jera has anger management problems…
      3. Don’t try to weasel your way through. I highly doubt the illustrators even bothered to add such things.

        High-pitched violin sound? I’m thinking more than one violin playing a lower key, adding the feel of a gasp… something like that, hard to explain. But when Jera opens her eye…it looks like the pupil is far too tiny than needed…? Looks very freaky.

      As good at this? That’s difficult xD But I think “Clout Heart”, “Lunar Eclipse” and “Wolf’s Rain – The next generation” are also really good. “The Blackblood Alliance” isn’t bad either. You can find those comics on DeviantArt. Maybe you’ll like them. But I think Off-White is still the best xD

        Guardians is a good story aswell, The main characters are not always wolves, Some are cats, some wolves, The story is very well made, Find them on DeviantArt. Though i should say, The comic seems to be on hold, There hasent been new pages in a good long while.

            I knew from the beggining that it was Jera, Raigho has orange eyes, Not green. I have no idea why peopele have such a problem telling the diffrince between them. Its so friggin obvious.
