      Uhh, not neccescarily; the ear’s direction also indicates where a wolf’s attention is pointed. He needs to notice it before he’s to express any feelings about it. It fits well with being in the “notice”-part here.

    I REALLY start to hate Hati and the ravens <.<….

    To be honest? The ravens could have flown to Iki and showing themselves + explaining what is going on and THEN introduce Hati.

    Rather than be like: ~scary soul-state Hati~ RAWWWWWRRR BROTHEEEER (and yes, I am exaggerating here, because that is more or less what Iki saw).
    I personally want a shotgun and starting to shoot at Hugin and Munin <.<…

    I never really disliked Jera, I hated Raigho more though … I like himMUCH MORE than I like Hati and his henchmen -.-.

        Nah, I would not go fully with that … I still do not trust Hati nor Hugin and Munin.
        He may be ”alrighty” with his brother in the original myths, though this comic follows his own way and I am not sure if he is a good guy here (does not mean that I do not love his design ^^).

        There must have been a reason why Sköll ”fled” to earth.

    YELP YELP YELP YELP… Mwahaha, I love this comic. But shame that the blue-eyed raven hasn’t fly after Iki instead the red-eyed one. It was frstly quite difficult to find its head in the last panel, blue eyes would make it easier. 

    But stil… this comic is getting more and more interesting. I couldn’t live without it. ;)

       I’d rather have the characters and the dialogues that come out of their mouths be in the right direction. These last pages, as beautiful as they are, do not make much sense story-wise. I’ll explain:

      Iki falls asleep and finds himself in that strange dream realm. Why is it happening now? He fell asleep and dreamed plenty of times before he had this “nightmare”

      How were these ravens useful to Hati if he could contact Iki directly?

      Why doesn’t Hati explain himself to Iki instead of playing the “special and powerful guy who has henchmen to his business” card?

      Every character’s agenda seems to consist in keeping information away from Iki about who he is or what he is.

        I think all of these things are hidden for a reason for now.
        Also, they get closer to Hati and I think it is easier for him to travel to that realm, if it is not a long distance and/or if the fullmoon is up.

        Also, he has to keep the balance all alone currently.
        ”The balance is lost, the moon won’t be enough” – one of the first pages.
        It could be that he is really week right now.

        About the dream:
        His powers awoken now, nearly fully, at least his facemarking indicates that a bit.
        So, I think they thought Sköll awoken with that, too … which he did not.

        Plus, it is said that they die and get reborn over and over again, so it could be, that the find each other like that (sending Hugin and Munin out) and just confront each other openly.
        Sköll was, on a flashback of Raigho’s possible memory on page 21, much more white than Iki is now ( ”off-white” ).

        Something could have happened between the brothers, so Sköll fled ”down to earth” this time or the disappearing of the human white spirit (which forms a pair with Sköll here), caused a disturbance and Sköll was reborn in ”the wrong way”, losing all his memories.

        Hugin and Munin seem to know BOTH brothers really well, so I guess they had a closer bond.
        So with Hati weakened or for wolves being unable to travel as fast as a raven, it could be only natural for the brothers, to send them out to find each other again.

        Hati also did not move that much in the realm, so this could be a prove for being weak or in an unstable state.

        For the contacting him so late:
        I really think that they assumed he was fully awoken now, because of his face marking fully developing again, which is why they seemed rather surprised by his behaviour.
        So, Hati might just thought that his sheer appearance would make Iki snap out of it and ”return” to his old-self, Sköll, again.

        Those are all just tiny suggestions and brainstorming from my side and like I said, I think those explanations are hidden for a good reason by now.

           Ehh, I was about to go to sleep, but I can afford a minute or so.

          Without going into much detail ( even though I’d like to do so as your counter-arguments are really solid ) I’ll just say that I agree with most of what you’ve said, but if we stay and analyze the situation we can come up with all kinds of excuses as to why that did not happen at that time or why this doesn’t happen now.

          From how I see it, there were a lot of opportunities where old things could get explained while newer plots/subplots could be thrown into the mix. But it’s not like that. While I’m convinced that the answers will be revealed in time, I cannot help but feel the comic is dragging for too long. We’re almost 200 pages into the comic and still waiting for action/plot twists/exciting new or unpredictable things to happen.

          Short version: You can’t insert new things if you don’t flush the old ones.

          I’ll go to sleep now…or at least I’ll try too. It’s too damn hot to get a proper rest, in any case.

    i think the reason why we’ve been waiting for action to take place is because, every-one loves a good story!, they want to make it more interesting and keep you from not reading it, they want you to keep wondering whats going to happen next. thats my theory/ opinion anyway : 3

    I have not been here for a few days and the epicness is going on and on and on. This scene is the most thrilling one, you had in this comic so far and it still makes me shiver and give me the creeps. I totally love the design of the whole area and the charakters taking part in it here. Hatis Spirit-mask looks totally awesome and gives him a very interesting and scary appearance. I can totally understand why Iki is trying to get as much distance between himself and that unknown creepy thing in front of him. I also love the shadow-wing of Munin here. I love the new page. Excellent work again.
